Terms of Use

Effective 9 October 2026.

These terms govern your use of this website. A flight, if you book one, is governed by the separate charter agreement you sign.

Who runs this website

Charter Jet One operates this website and the Private Jet vs First Class service. Private Jet vs First Class is an air charter broker and is not a direct air carrier: we do not own or operate aircraft, and the certificated operator flying your trip has operational control of the aircraft.

Guidance, not offers

Door-to-door timings, cost examples, per-person splits, hourly ranges and calculator results are illustrations to help you compare. They are not offers or quotes, and a real price or timing for your trip may be different.

From quote to booking

A quote binds neither of us until a charter agreement is signed. Before you book we name the operator that will fly the trip, and the operating carrier’s details are set out in the agreement. Flights depend on the operator confirming the aircraft, crew, airports and conditions on the day.

Taxes and fees

Quotes list the taxes and fees known when we prepare them, such as the 7.5% federal excise tax on US domestic flights, segment fees and any international charges. Costs that can only be known later, like de-icing or extra services you request, are charged as your agreement provides.

If plans change

Changes, cancellations and refunds follow the terms of your charter agreement, which you should read before signing. Empty-leg flights can be withdrawn by the operator if the original trip changes.

Using the site

Please use this site lawfully and for its intended purpose: researching and requesting private flights. Its content and design are protected, and the photographs are licensed.

Our liability

We take care to keep the site accurate but provide it without guarantees of completeness or timeliness. Within the limits the law sets, we are not liable for losses caused by using the site or relying on its comparisons, while any liability that cannot legally be limited remains in place.

Applicable law

These terms are subject to the law of the United States and the State of New York.

Updates

We may change these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you use the site applies.
